DREW K. HORTER, President
DREW K. Horter, Founder and Chief Investment Strategist. With over 20 years of investment
management experience Mr. Horter has extensive industry knowledge as a Registered
Investment Advisor. Having held FINRA Securities licenses that include the Series
6, 7, 22 and 63 over the past 29 years, Mr. Horter has experienced many economic,
political and financial cycles.
Horter Investment Management, LLC was founded in 1991. Mr. Horter’s Registered Investment
Advisor firm manages assets on a fee basis for its clients. Early in his career
Mr. Horter recognized the need for high quality private wealth managers for his
clients. Since becoming a Registered Investment Advisor, Mr. Horter has worked with
many equity and fixed income managers.
More recently Mr. Horter has focused on low risk, low volatility asset managers
for the 70 investment advisor representatives affiliated with Horter Investment
Management (located in 33 States). These private wealth managers can attain equity
like rates of return without the risk generally associated with the stock market.
To compliment the low risk and low volatility private wealth managers, Horter Investment
Management also works with high quality, low beta equity managers that present excellent
opportunities for clients.
Mr. Horter has been a CFP since 1986 and is a licensed insurance professional.

KIRK R. HORTER, Director of Operations
Kirk has been instrumental in developing a Low Risk Private Wealth Management Platform for Horter Investment Management, LLC. In addition to overseeing Trading, Account Reconciliation, and ACAT Transfers, Kirk also analyzes the Portfolio Managers that meet the performance standards, risk tolerance, and low risk money management criteria that Horter Investment Management mandates in it’s managed portfolio.
JUDY HELMES-SNEED, Chief Compliance Officer/Controller
Ms. Helmes-Sneed has worked in the field of Accounting and System Management for over
25 years. General responsibilities have included various aspects of business management.
Her areas of concentration have been financial statements, general ledger, tax preparation,
payroll, budgeting, advertising, insurance, inventory control, employee benefits,
database maintenance, disaster recovery, software implementations and software/database
conversions. Judy recently joined our management team after working 5+ years at
Deloitte & Touche Investment Advisors as a Product Manager for Microsoft Access
databases building and maintaining.
JACK PETERS, Vice President of Sales
A 27 year veteran of the Financial Services Industry, Jack brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Advisors. Over the years, he has been involved in nearly every aspect of the financial services business. His success is underscored by achievements such as, “Best of the Best”, “Agent of the Year”, “Top Gun”, and “Sales Leaders of the Year Club”.
Over the last 15 years, Jack has consulted and advised Insurance Agents, Independent Advisors, Registered Representatives, Stock Brokers, National Banks, major New York wirehouses, NASD firms and Regional NYSE firms. Jack specialized in the area of wealth conservation, wealth preservation and wealth transfer. Prior to his consulting and mentoring agents and advisors, Jack managed $70MM of client assets.
During the last few years, Jack has realized that the majority of financial advisors in business today lack the Fiduciary Standard and field knowledge, leaving a large void to be filled.
Jack sees the value of high quality Private Wealth Managers. Jack will focus on helping advisors understand and implement Horter Investment Management’s safe and secure, and low risk, low volatility Private Wealth Investment Management platform.
KEVIN C. HETZER, Trading Specialist/IAR Support
Mr. Hetzer has been with Horter Investment Management since March 2008. Mr. Hetzer
graduated from Indiana University with bachelors in business management. Kevin currently
handles all daily trading activity, transactional data, model allocations, manual
billings, and all facets of IAR support.
ELIZABETH EICHELMAN | Director of Marketing
Elizabeth began her career in marketing working with blue-chip brands like Ford, Skyline, and Cold Stone Creamery as a marketing director for a Cincinnati advertising magazine. She was the creative marketing director for a Cincinnati bridal magazine, working with the area’s premiere photographers, wedding vendors, and venues. She worked alongside the most talented professionals in the marketing and design industry. She has lead a team of designers in the creation of several website divisions for Johnson & Johnson. She went on to create national marketing campaigns for Cincinnati sports teams like the Reds and Bengals, as well as the PGA tour. She has been featured in local Cincinnati magazines and national blog articles for her work as a marketing and design expert. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati’s Design Architecture Art and Planning program - ranked 3rd in the nation for marketing and design.
